Brice Russ is the Assistant Director of Yuri's Night, the World Space Party. He also serves as the Media Team Chair, where he has managed all organizational PR and publicity efforts, been interviewed by the Los Angeles Times and MSNBC.com, and edited the Yuri's Night Blog. Brice is a member of the Yuri's Night Board of Directors and has been part of the Yuri's Night Executive Team since 2006. Brice specializes in space outreach efforts through social and digital media; he recently won an Excellence Award from the National Space Society for his work as Chair of the NSS Social Networking Committee. He previously served as the New Media Coordinator for the 4Frontiers Corporation, and has written freelance articles on NewSpace and space advocacy for Ars Technica and various space-sector blogs and publications. Brice is currently a doctoral student and instructor for the Department of Linguistics at The Ohio State University, where he is researching linguistic variation in social media. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
